Why should any child have to sleep in a car tonight?
Nationwide, families with children are among the fastest growing segments of the homeless population. In Washtenaw County, parents and children accounted for over two-thirds of the homeless last year. Every day parents and children in our community experience homelessness – they sleep in cars, in emergency rooms or doubled up in overcrowded conditions with friends, family and neighbors. You can change this!
For $25 a night, you can shelter a homeless child in our community.
