Our network is our net worth
Since 1992, IHN at Alpha House has been Washtenaw County’s community-driven response to child and family homelessness. What began as the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Washtenaw County has grown into a strong, compassionate network that ensures families have a safe place to turn in moments of crisis.
Today, more families than ever are experiencing homelessness. At Alpha House, parents and children find emergency and temporary shelter, nutritious meals, and housing-focused case management that supports their transition into permanent homes.
This year, when shifting federal priorities reduced Rapid Rehousing funding by more than $700,000, we made the intentional decision to step away from that funding so we could stay focused on what we do best: keeping families safe and guiding them toward stability. We can continue this mission because of our network — people like you.
Your year-end gift strengthens that network and ensures families have:
-
A warm, safe place to sleep
-
Support meeting basic needs
-
A clear path from crisis to permanent housing
When you give, you help a family rewrite their story — from uncertainty to hope.
